Ever since I was a little girl, I have been playing in the mud.

Whether it was my grandparents farm helping out in the garden, building delicious mud pies on the sun deck, or helping my dad mix cement for his Masonary business..what ever it was, you could bet that I was there getting my hands dirty.

Also during this time (when I wasn't doing all that hard labour ;)) I was helping mom in the kichen making real pies. I remember rolling, and kneading out the dough until it was perfect. When they were ready for the oven, I would take the extra bits of leftover dough, and spend hours moalding it. I was hooked!

Since then I've worked with salt dough, cement, ALL forms of Clay ( water based, oil based, metal clay), and now I am incorporating this fine medium into Living Sculptures. With the love of all things green, lush, and lovely....and my true passion for sculpture, this seems like the perfect fit.
