Slanted Comedy

Slanted Comedy is the longest running Asian comedy show on the scene today. It all started at the Hollywood Improv 2005 With Edwin San Juan and now passed on over ever since 2009 to long time partner and promoter Michael Abara. It has featured in all of the California Improv's (Irvine, Brea, Ontario, and San Jose.) Slanted Comedy featured on Showtime entitled "Pacific Rim Comedy" and aired New Years Eve of 2009. You may have also scene some of our comics evolve over time and make it big such as Ken Jeong known for his histarical roles in The Hangover I and II. Randall Park on Nick Cannon's "Wild N' Out" and numerous T.V. commercials. Jo Koy on talk show "Chelsea Lately" and specials on "Comedy Central." The list keeps growing and the shows are just down right outrageously funny. Look out for Slanted Comedy every first Saturday of the month at the Brea Improv 11pm show. It's known to be the funniest late night comedy show in all of Orange County.
