Skylyr Slavens

As a Program Assistant for Students with Disabilities and Career Coach, I have two roles. In the program assistant role I serve as a liaison between Disability Resources and University Career Center, while assisting in planning, organizing, and marketing career services for students with disabilities. In the career coach role I provide career guidance and support for all students, while attending to any additional concerns students with disabilities may have.

In my free time I enjoy exercising and doing anything active. I am a big sports fan! Being from the area and a proud Jayhawk, I enjoy cheering on all our local sports teams. I also enjoy spending time with my wife, watching movies, being involved at church, traveling, and watching Friends reruns (my favorite show).
