Married to the love of my life, Dr. Lisa Mosconi. We live in the Bronx with our daughter.
Typically found at the intersections between technology, science, and culture. For twenty years or so, most of what I've done rhymes with architecture.
Head of Creative and Marketing for Poppy, at the far front lines of enterprise biosafety. Similar work for 10 months at another young company early in the pandemic. Worked with colleagues to do some of the earliest work in the field as faculty at the MIT Media Lab. At the start of the pandemic, I was Lead for the Pandemic Task Force, and VP Comms and Marketing at Crossover Health.
Prior to microbial sensing and detection, I spent many years with other pioneers to design and build location-based games and services, including co-founding Area/Code, which was acquired to become Zynga New York in 2011.
Founding and former Chief Science and Technology Officer, the Shed.
I was on the Board of Trustees at Cooper Union for eight years, including several years as Vice Chair.
Founding and contributing editor, MIT Press Journal of Design and Science.
For 10 years, I worked in strategy and as creative director at DDB, Chiat, SS+K.
