Son of Pulitzer-nominated civil rights journalist Marshall Frady
Grew up in New York City, interned and assisted at Magnum Photos before graduating from the Browning School (a Manhattan preparatory school for boys, founded 1888)
First worked in communications as intranet content editor at J.P. Morgan, also assisting with advertising campaigns, 1999-2000
Originally intending a short stay, lived in Beijing for seven years, developing strong commercial background producing and shooting for international clients including IBM, Shell Oil, Getty Images and many others (some included in early reel HERE)
Returned to the U.S. in 2008: Joined U.S. Army, completed 3 years active duty contract, TS/SCI clearance, honorable discharge
Graduated Magna Cum Laude with B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications at Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Arizona State University, August 2014
