How I work as a reporter
I strive to give my editors articles that adhere to the highest standards of professional journalism.
Through the reporting process, I follow The Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) Code of Ethics, and adhere to all ethical guidelines set forth by a news agency or professional media organization. Fact-checking is an important part of that process, and I provide notes, transcriptions, and audio recordings for editors after an article is completed.
As a reporter, I use educational resources provided by The Rosalynn Carter Center and The Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma to minimize harm to sources.
