I live and paint in Colorful Pagosa Country, Colorado. Stone is my unique cavas and wildlife is what I paint. Each stone has its own personality and sets the stage for who will live within it facial features. I love painting elk, deer, bear, cougars and trout, together with wonderful charming birds such as the Chickadees and Nuthatches.

I like to refer to my art work as Nature's Story Book in Stone which echoes the sounds of nature through my art work.

I paint with acrylics and seal each stone with epoxy to preserve the artwork. Each piece is displayed on a wrought iron easel.

My work is unusual and makes for a great decorator piece and for those of you who like to collect "rocks" that have a story to tell..Syl's Echoes of Nature
