Sonya seeks out the most extreme mountain bike races on the planet and has raced and earned top results in more than 10 countries. However, one thing is missing when she races; a tortured grimace. Armed with a sense of humor, a strong mind, and a talent for endurance, she sets records across the globe. Sonya has won 4 US National Titles along with multiple stage race wins and 100 milers. Sonya was the first woman to finish a 10 day race in the Himalaya including a hike-a-bike over 18,000', endured the jungles of Sri Lanka, braved the Caribbean mountains of Haiti, the steppes of Mongolia, to the Sahara Desert in Morocco. "It makes me feel alive" is her response to why she will take on just about any challenge. She also writes about her experiences, runs her own clinic series, and is a motivational speaker. In addition, she runs Magnetic Branding, a marketing firm.
