A Travelling Mind

Travelling on public transport takes up approximately 1/5 of my day, as I travel from home to work, work to (x) venue and from (x) venue home.

As a young and impatient new adult, I used to think that such time was not worth spending. So, for a good year or so the taxi companies enjoyed fairly brisk business from my wallet. I too thought that I'd been reaping the advantages of this speed up of my journey times, till I finally sat down one day (after a large decrease in my account balance) to do the sums. It was then that I felt the pinch.

So now, as a not-so-young and not-that-impatient not-that-new adult, I've sought to rediscover public transport and the amazing array of things that can preoccupy you in the hour long journey. Join me as I pen (or type) down the thoughts that run through my mind, the chapters (or pages, let's not be too ambitious) of books that I manage to digest, or just observations of people I meet in the course of rediscovering public transport!

At the end of the day, we are all caught up in an unnecessary rush. Why let that continue?
