Stephanie Lunergan

My name is Stephanie Lunergan. I am a primary/junior teacher with the Peel District School Board. I have taught grade 3 for the past four years. I absolutely love this age group as they are really independent and enjoy being creative by using their own ideas! There are times where they truly surprise me and I actually learn from them!

Teaching is one of the greatest joys of my life. I enjoy creating resources, searching blogs, and doing whatever it takes to make my classroom a happy, friendly, challenging and rewarding environment! I am truly passionate about helping children succeed in reading and writing and encourage them as much as possible. I try to inspire my students by creating activities that are interactive and getting them involved in everything that they do.

On a different note, I am excited to announce that I have just given birth to a beautiful baby boy on April 4th, 2013 and am on maternity leave. He is the joy of my life and I love spending every day with him! I also have a 3 year old Boston Terrier who keeps my very busy with his energetic personality. He is spoiled rotten and absolutely loves his new baby brother! Finally, I have been married to my husband for three years. He is the love of my life and I couldn't picture my world without him. LIFE IS GOOD!!!!
