Sifiso Lutshaba (AKA Mfero Mfengu born August 21, 1990) born in Gugulethu, Cape Town is an African, director and executive producer for Khumbulani Entertainment an event management and production company. Music has always been my imaginary friend, growing up playing wind instruments and snare drums in Montevideo Primary School also a dancer at Elukhanyisweni Community Centre.

I have always been involved and exposed to creative thinking, eventually I drew interest in entrepreneurship on how to manage myself and become a creative entrepreneur. Art has always been a part of my life until I became aware of my skills. I had to tap inside myself and explore life that is filled with abundance of possibilities.

For the past five years I have been experimenting with a new and distinctive South African representative sound fused with world music. The sound is a complex fusion of an African music and traditional South African chants and rhythms. It has an African-style percussion that I enquired from Xhosa culture and is characterised by African and Western instruments, vocals, and a musical structure in which a base rhythm of drums, shaker, South African influenced music (Marabi, Mbaqanga, Kwela, Kwaito) and melodic bass guitar riffs are repeated throughout the song. Commonly, interlocking melodic riffs and rhythms are introduced one by one, building the groove bit-by-bit and layer-by-layer to an astonishing melodic and polyrhythmic complexity. This is a common technique in Africa and African-influenced musical styles, and can be seen in Funk and Hip-Hop.
