Student, Teacher, and Musician in Soweto, Johannesburg, South Africa

Luvhengo Sam is enthusiastic about educating and imparting knowledge to others. He enjoys making art outside of the classroom, especially music and drawing.

He is a prospective ICT specialist and currently serves as a pre-service Computer Applications Technology & Life Orientation teacher. The aim of his work is to encourage the next generation of learners to use technology to make learning simpler and to investigate more effective methods of getting access to educational resources.

His philosophy is to encourage student responsibility and accountability for their own work while demonstrating that creativity and enjoyment are integral components of learning. With the TPACK framework, he hopes to encourage cognitive and authentic learning. His perspective is based on the research of enlightened academics like Lev Vygotsky (1978) and Jean Piaget (1967). Their work acts as a starting point for his teaching and learning strategy in his area of specialization.
