Scott serves as the Creative Director of Interactive Learning at Cultivate Learning at the University of Washington.

As an educator, professional communicator and creative technologist his work focuses on assisting clients with organizational transformation and innovative technology solutions through the creation of emerging models of interactive content and educational platforms. Scott seeks to create a rich learning infrastructure that strengthens an organization’s capacity and supports access to creative ideas, learning opportunities, and business strategies.

Scott served as the curator of TEDx Seattle and currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Seattle Interactive Conference and on the City of Seattle’s Music and Art Commission joint Community Development committee. In 2013, Scott was given the King County Executive’s Award for Excellence in Community Service for utilizing narrative and social platforms as a powerful tool for engagement and producing impacts that matter.

Scott is an award winning author, interactive designer and multimedia maker. Scott uses social media as a powerful tool for learning and building meaningful relationships that create opportunities to engage in acts of social justice. His teaching and scholarship focuses on emerging models of interactive and immersive storytelling and how they are disrupting the ways we can reach and engage our students.
