Small Town Girl

A few years ago, I moved to a small town. It takes me at least an hour to reach any major city. When I first moved, I was terrified of being so far from civilization. However, like so many of us, we do silly things for love (this was where my boyfriend wanted to live). It didn’t take long at all for me to change my tune and fall in madly in love with this quiet, one horse town. Since living out here, I’ve been getting more creative with my cooking and have quite the garden growing out back. It occurred to me I needed to start writing down my experiences to share and also to remember. Life is good in the country. Hope you enjoy my blog.

Where I live: Essentially, the base of Mt. Rainier in the wonderfully wet state of WA. I’ve lived here all my life and love it!
