Wannabe tutu wearer who is aok with being a number-crunching bookkeeper/actor/writer/director. Happiest when scrambling to get a production up and running or bringing her characters to life. She has played everything from a pill-popping circus performer to a Donne-loving professor dying of ovarian cancer.

After two decades of spinning her wheels in Toronto, Wendi moved back to her hometown of St. John's. Since moving back she has performed with many local theatre companies: God Complex Theatre, Joint Productions, Corner Boys, Nothing On Productions, Shakespeare by the Sea (SBTS), Open Theatre Company, Rabbittown Theatre; and has directed for: GraveYard Shift Productions, Short & Queer II, SBTS Festival.

She is frequently seen in local film & TV productions but most times it's a game of 'Find Wendi'. You can play the game when watching the CBC series, Republic of Doyle - spot Wendi playing detective. HINT: She's usually the one in the suit on the phone.

In 2011, her theatre company, St. John's Women's Festival of Theatre (SW|FT), presented W;t by Margaret Edson at the LSPU Hall to critical acclaim.

In 2016, Wendi became a founding member and artistic associate director of V-Day St. John's - whose mission is to raise funds and awareness towards violence against women.

Upcoming theatre productions:

Her one one woman show, 'Resurrecting Mary' will be presented in the Roles4Women's four act production 'Women From the Future' at the Factory Theatre in Toronto from June 21-24, 2018 at 8 pm.

Wendi continues to live in St. John's where there is no lull in her life and the sun struggles to shine.
