Justin & Shannon

We met in January 2011 at the birthday party of our friend Angie. From that party we went to the Tackle Box and shared our first dance! Two weeks later on January 29th, Justin asked Shannon on a date to the Red Bluff Bull & Gelding Sale and Rodeo.

At our first Valentine's day date Justin took took Shannon to a concert and slipped a carved abalone heart in to her back pocket.

There was no way that I was going to let this beautiful woman slip out of my life. She was like no other person I had ever met. Strong at heart, full of joy and warmth. Watching her smile was like watching the sun rise after a long cold night.

After dating for a while, we would take long walks and talk about life. We both saw things the same way but from a different vantage point. It was like meeting someone out in the wilderness, when another person was the last thing you though that you would ever see. Yet we both ended up at this same point, staring into the same orb of love.
