It all started with a simple polaroid camera that I received for my 7th birthday. I took countless photo's of my Gene Doll, my kitten and my best friend. Now I know what your thinking....how in the world did you become a photographer after that? Well after taking pictures in high school (upgraded to a REAL camera...somewhat...it was a kodak ok?) I had a little baby girl! Once she was here I took countless photos and people LOVED them! I was asked to take their family photo's and kids pictures. I then decided ok...I love doing this so I'm going to share this gift and love of photography with everyone I can. So Faeth Photography was born. The name "Faeth" pronounced "Faith" came from my daughter's middle name...I wanted it to be Irish like her Father & my heritage (though its really not as I made it up...don't judge ok?) I tend to prefer black & white images as they have ALWAYS been my favorite. Though they hold no color they speak a million words and paint a picture of colors in your mind. I enjoy taking pictures of children, because their innocence and humor profound me. I am also branching off to more artistic photography (& putting my college major of art/theatre to use!) I love art and photography is my work of art. I hope that you enjoy my images as they each mean something special to me!
