Like A Jelly Bean

My writing is like a jelly bean, there are many flavors yet some are better than others. I mostly write when I am required to in school because it does not interest me very much. People aren’t always in the mood to eat jelly beans and I am never really in the mood to write. I struggle with BEPs and factual writing, and like a black liquorish jelly bean, it is not very good. Creative writing on the other hand is like cherry, sweet and my personal favorite. Creative writing used to be my strong suit, but I haven’t written anything in so long, I don’t really know if it is anymore. I used to have a journal when I was little, but really never understood the point and stopped writing in it soon after. I just didn't have any idea what to write about and couldn't comprehend that writing could help me at that point. I still don’t see how writing can do anything for me but maybe this class can change that.
