Smangele Mdlalose

Hi, I’m Smangele Mdlalose. I am a 3rd year student at the University of Johannesburg, majoring in Physical Education, Business Studies, and EMS. I'm passionate about education because I believe it has the power to open doors and change lives.

Outside of lectures, I'm the Director of Inhlonipho Student Life, a non-profit organization I’ve been volunteering with since 2023. Through Inhlonipho, we help high school learners apply to universities for free, and we also run community outreach programs like cooking and distributing meals to people experiencing homelessness in Johannesburg. Service and community are a big part of who I am.

I’m also a huge football fan; you’ll probably catch me on my socials in my team’s jersey or posting about the game on TikTok. Football teaches me teamwork, discipline, and passion, values I try to bring into both my studies and my work in the community.
