Sara Fisher

My name is Sara Fisher and I am a recent graduate of the Leadership in Higher Education Masters program at Baldwin-Wallace College. I also hold a Bachelors of Science degree in Middle Childhood Education from The Ohio State University. My professional interests and skills include non-profit and higher education development and fundraising, social media marketing, and alumni relations and affairs.

Most recently, I was employed at Baldwin-Wallace College as a graduate intern in the Office of Advancement and worked with the Director of Annual Giving. In this position, I assisted the director in the planning and implementation of the college’s first ever faculty/staff annual giving campaign. As a result of this campaign, giving increased from 85 donors at the beginning of the campaign to 258 donors at the conclusion of the campaign. We also gained 58 new, first-time donors, as well as increased the total campus participation in Annual Giving by 122% over last fiscal year.

As an undergraduate at The Ohio State University at Mansfield, I had the opportunity to work with the Director of Development as the student development assistant. As the development assistant, I assisted in running two internal giving campaigns: the annual "I Believe in Ohio State" campus campaign and the United Way giving campaign. During these two campaigns, the campus raised $12,000 and $7,000 respectively.
