I'm a very lucky 71 yr old widowed Grandma. Even tho i contacted 3rd stg lung cancer in 2009 I consider myself one lady! I have 4 beautiful grandchildren that I abosolutely adore. I took up crocheting when my 1st was born & hve been involved with not only donating my blankies & scarves but I also make them for gifts at a very reasonbable price (cost only). More importantly , I just LOVE the way the babies cuddle up to the blankies and play with them LONG after they are walking. Also, if there is anyone that needs a little "boost" i to get you past feeling "blue" please let me know. Maybe I can help. I figure that the Good Lord is keeping me around for a reason. I don't know what that is yet, but he sure does!! Well, that's enough for now, this is a new adventure for me but I thought I would try to test new waters. Oh, my 1st Grandson couldn't say Grandma - hence the name - Meemaw. It took me almost a year to realize that Meemaw said backwards is Mommy!!!! Eeek... slow learner. hee hee Now all children either call me Meemaw or Meemaw Millie- I just LOVE it... Again, i do crocheting and call myselff: Meemaw's Loving Touch.
