Smiley Che is a entertainment and technology blog run by me, Mike Davis, a 20 year old University of Bristol student and aspiring professional journalist/writer from Birmingham, United Kingdom. I have grown up for the last twenty years in a world that is constantly evolving with new technologies and new ways of entertaining ourselves, and have embraced them wholeheartedly. In order to practice writing for a potential career, I decided to start by blogging about my interests and passions and seeing who would listen. If you haven’t already been and read any of my posts, Smiley Che features my opinions and commentary on the latest news from the worlds of TV, films, games, technology, social media and popular culture. The topics I choose to discuss are chosen because they interest me, and because I have some form of opinion on them, I do not report all the day’s entertainment and tech news, there are many sources out there who you can rely on for that, and I often link to them at the bottom of posts. This is why I instead focus my posts around my own opinion on these stories, as the facts are out there for all to find with a quick Google search, and I intend to offer an opinion to be discussed based off a knowledge of the basic story.
