Shane Smith

I am a thrid year International Business student at Algonquin College. I'm an avid sports fan and retired Junior hockey player.

I enjoy being active in the community where I live. Currently, I am a referee in the Nepean Minor Hockey Association. As if school and refereeing didn't keep my life busy enough, I am also working part time with a local company called Gadar Promotions.

To be successful as an individual I believe that you must try and give the people around you the tools to succeed as well.

My goal is to live and work in a variety of countries throughout my career because although I believe Canada is a wonderful place, there is so much more to the world than our beautiful country.

I firmly believe in the quote, "Hard work will beat talent when talent refuses to work hard" and I live by it and work hard everyday.
