Robert Smith

Boston University - CDIA

  1. I made a decision to go back to school this last September to add a new skill set to my list of qualifications. In fact, I have chosen to move into a new direction, career wise; programming for the web. I am now attending Boston University full time, and will complete my certification in May of 2013. I am excited about this new direction, and the new languages that I have begun to learn. My studies include the following technologies: XHTML, CSS, Java-script, jQuery, Flash, PHP, MySQL, AJAX, XML, JSON, Python and Word press as a CMS. Although the courses are challenging, my dedication and hard work will allow me to prevail.

I do not plan to leave behind my entrepreneurial pursuits; in fact I plan to build a SaaS based e-commerce business throughout the duration of my studies while at BU. The curriculum requires an external project as part of its practicum. Additionally, I hope to find a new position in a well-funded start-up in the Greater Boston area upon graduation. If you are interested in my past experience, and future qualifications and pursuits, please feel free to contact me.
