I always said that when I write my first book the title would be Angel with an A! Seeing I spend so much time writing for a million other reasons, I figure why not write daily and put it out here for the world to see!

A little bit about me:

I am a wife- I married the love of my life when I was 16 years old and we are still together.

I am a mother- I have five precious children, 4 of whom you see in the picture and a precious angel who left this world and my arms way too soon

I am a teacher- I never thought I would become a teacher, I was the kid who hated school and would do anything to get out of going. It wasn't that I was not smart, maybe just the opposite, I was bored to death. Add that with a rough home life and I dropped out. Now I am a teacher, a calling from God I have always told others, my joy comes from watching my students succeed and making a difference one child at a time. Although I no longer teach in a traditional school, my heart passion, and dedication is and always will be with making a difference in the world of education.

I am on a journey of self discovery- In my life I have been through so many things, things that I would not want anyone to have to experience, losing a child, both of my parents, having a disabled son, and watching my healthy daughter get diagnosed with a rare disease that has changed her life in a matter of months. I had a loving family and still had a dysfunctional childhood, one I have kept secret to preserve others, although it has torn me apart. Now is my time, a time of healing, of moving forward, and becoming a better me.
