Matthew Smith

Thanks for visiting my page! I'm a 23 year old aspiring filmmaker who lives in Indianapolis, Indiana. My wife Heather and I have been married since 2009, and in 2011 we had our first child, Rory. The thing I love most about the film industry is that it's open right now to anyone who wants in. No longer will you have to rely on big studio money, technology is in a place where anyone with talent and drive can pick up a camera and see their vision on the big screen.

I currently work for the pharmaceutical comapny Eli Lilly as a manufacturing operator, but I produce and edit films on the side. The thing I love about my job is that it gives me plenty of time to focus on my film aspirations. I love helping with marketing and distribution of films or television series, as well as helping to craft the creative content.

I will be graduating from Full Sail University with my Bachelors of Science in Entertainment Business at the end of August, 2012. I plan on pursuing my master's degree in early 2013.
