Widely known in the recruiting industry, Smith is an Executive Recruiter and Career Consultant. Smith has served with several public and privately held corporations as a Vice President and Business Development Director. His clients include Fortune 500 corporations, small private companies and not for profit organizations. Over the past four years, Smith has been a career coach to many soon-to-be college graduates. He is active in the Minneapolis community by serving on several not for profit boards. Additionally, Smith is a leader/ teacher for adult education courses at his church. He has developed courses and curriculum for this adult community.

Smith holds a Masters of Arts in communication from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. At Michigan he was a Rackham Fellow, in the Horace Rackham School of Graduate Studies. His BFA is from The University of Arizona.

A long time resident of Minneapolis, Smith is married to his wife Laura for almost 30 years and has two grown daughters. He enjoys fishing, college football and visiting the North Shore. During the winter months, you will find him in Arizona enjoying the Sonoran lifestyle with Laura and two terriers.
