Baton Rouge, LA

I grew up in a small town outside of Alexandria, LA called Jena. Heard of it? No... Not surprised. Upon moving to Baton Rouge, I was shy and nervous about this new experience. In the past two years, I have grown as a person and gained confidence.

I am currently a Mass Communication student at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. Over the past year, I have grown a greater passion for Advertising and have chosen it for my concentration. One of the many reasons for this is my growing interest in the creative and design aspects of communications.

Currently, I am working as a Marketing Intern with Izzo's Illegal Burrito. This is a new and exciting experience that is helping me gain some real-world experience. With this, I get hands-on experience by maintaining relationships with clients and promoting local events.

Aside from school and work, I participate in the Louisiana State University Tiger Marching Band. There, I have learned the importance of teamwork and everyone working together for a common goal. With Tiger Band, respect is key and as an older member, I must share the traditions with new members.

One of my other passions is the love I share for local businesses. Being from a small town, I have always appreciated the importance of local businesses. With that, I would love to one day help small businesses like these grow into the larger corporations around the world.
