1.) A strength of mine is that I am discipline. Discipline means that I have order and am a well planned out individual who is able to stick to my plan and maintain organization in my day to day life. I identify with this strength the most because I enjoy making things orderly and well planned. Being discipline is very important to me because I am able to work hard and get things done in order to experience success. This impacts my academic goals because it helps me stay on track towards my achievement and to not lose points on assignments because I did not get them done. It impacts my personal life by making more structured time for me to do things. I make time for studying and time for relaxing. It effects my social life similar because of the structure it brings to my life.
2.) The first assignment I will incorporate in this is the Time Management Activities. This assignment was designed to make you plan out your day to day life and reflect on how you are spending your time. I learned that I spend much more time taking naps throughout the day than I should be. This has helped me change my day to day schedule to try to minimize the times I spend sleeping and make more time for doing things productively. This activity taught me more about how to manage my time and I will use it in the future to make sure I am spending my time the best possible way.
3.) The other assignment I will talk about is the Wellness Dimensions. This involved taking a survey about how healthy, both mentally and physically, you are and to reflect on your findings. I found that my spiritual wellness fell into the best score possible for a particular category. This result was not surprising to me because I have a firm knowledge in my religious beliefs and know that I have a good relationship with Jesus Christ. I did learn about the value of having a good spiritual score. I was happy to see that having a high score is healthy. I will use this information that I learned from the Wellness Dimension project to perform more to my personal strengths and approach tasks based on what I am good at. I will also work to increase the levels of things I am not as well with in order to become a more healthy individual.
