Help Pakistani Mountaineers
Virgin Peak Expedition in Pakistan
I am one of few active mountaineers in Pakistan who dabbles into photographer & film-making. The highlight of my mountaineering has been summiting Spantik [7,027m / 23054.46 ft.] as part of the Pak-China Friendship Expedition in 2012 & climbing two virgin peaks (Ra’na Kook Ser 5,525m & Moamee Mariya Kataria Ser 5,457m) in alpine style and that too in tandem in Shimshal (ExpeditionResilience) in Aug/Sep 2015.
I and my climbing partners are aiming to scale the virgin Chashkin III - 6,200m approx. peak, located in Shimshal’s Maidoor area [Gilgit Baltistan] and that too in winters. We intend to document the expedition and believe that screening & showcasing this documentary will help promote associated brands and portray a positive image of Pakistan. It will also create awareness of mountaineering as a sport in Pakistan and will help in bringing back tourism to the country. We will also produce a multi-webisode video for promotion on social media.
Getting an all Pakistani team on top of a 6,000m (20,000 ft. approx.) virgin technical peak will be mountaineering history by any standards. Don’t miss out on this unique chance to promote Pakistani culture, tourism and help re-establish Pakistan in the mountaineering world.
Kind Regards
