I am the campus technologist for Lubbock-Cooper Central Elementary in Lubbock, Texas. I graduated from South Plains College and Texas Tech University. I taught Reading and Social Studies in grades 6-8 for fifteen years before moving into a technology role for Lubbock-Cooper ISD for the past ten years. As a self-professed “Teach Like a Pirate” and EdCamp groupie, I have traveled across Texas to learn, share and grow as an educator. My Texas Certified Educator teaching certificate is in Elementary 1-8. Currently, I'm a Google Certified Educator: Level 1 and working towards becoming a Google for Education Certified Trainer. In December of this year, I will have completed all requirements for a Master’s Degree in Educational Instructional Media. I have a passion for educational technology and an enthusiasm for service in the field of education for both teachers and students.
