Denise De La Vega

Denise De La Vega, a Miami native, is a graduate from Miami Dade College’s School of Entertainment & Design Technology. During her time at school she received scholarships from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and was President the college’s chapter of The Golden Key International Honour Society. She has written and directed documentary and short films. Her work has been featured on WLRN, NPR, and CNN en Español. In addition to her film studies, she also teaches kids, teens, & adults at MDC’s Community School of Continuing Education. Her passions include viewing and making films and helping serve the community by educating and inspiring the future generation of filmmakers.
