You wouldn’t think it seeing him now. After all, Alex stands 6’4” (194 cm) tall. But once upon a time he was an infant. And when born in 1973, he was chosen Finland’s Baby of the Year. That achievement led to an early career as a baby model.

Still, as you can imagine, that sort of career has a built-in expiration date. What could Alex possibly do as an encore? For starters, he could start his own graphic design business as a young teenager. He could follow up with economics studies in the UK with a degree in international business. He could eventually travel the world, visiting more than 50 countries and living in nine cities on two continents, while putting his marketing expertise to work on behalf of those companies who valued his creative vision.

Alex has developed a reputation as a decisive thinker, direct communicator, and creative strategist. He’s also known for inspired approaches to team building, sometimes relying on traditional Nordic techniques. Example: jumping in a snowdrift, then leaping into Arctic water, followed by a hot Finnish sauna. Does this build strong relationships? His colleagues answer with a unanimous—and vigorous—Yes!
