"There is plenty of room at the bottom"- Sir Richard Feynmann

I am a Chemical Engineering graduate student at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in Netherlands, with a keen interest in Nanotechnology, a field that I find extremely fascinating solely due to its inter-disciplinary nature.

I have graduated from BITS-Pilani K.K. Birla Goa Campus (http://universe.bits-pilani.ac.in/goa/) in December 2012, a semester earlier than the usual 4 years and I must admit that my academic life has been amazing during my 3 years of stay in Goa. My last semester of college, or rather the last 6 months of my undergraduate life was spent in Mumbai where I pursued my thesis at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research working in their Department of Condensed Matter Physics and Materials Science, in the Nanomaterials Lab (http://www.tifr.res.in/~nanomaterials/) under the guidance and supervision of Professor Pushan Ayyub. I worked on fabricating Copper Nanotubes using an Electrochemical Techniques. During my stint as a thesis student at TIFR, I also learnt the technique of fabricating thin films on substrates using Physical Vapor Deposition methods. Apart from that I have also worked on synthesizing and characterizing magnetic nanoparticles under Dr. N.N. Ghosh (http://universe.bits-pilani.ac.in/goa/nghosh/profile) and on silicon-HAP nanocomposites under Dr. Sutapa Roy Ramanan (http://universe.bits-pilani.ac.in/goa/sutapa/Profile).
