Having successfully completed a social work qualification; Rachel spent many years in the dynamic and progressive caring profession; utilising her specialist skill set to facilitate change often in politically driven complex and unique circumstances. Rachel’s flair for people management and her broad understanding of people’s wants needs and desires ensured a successful career.

An opportunity and desire for change took Rachel to the Mediterranean and Western Asia where she learned the fundamentals of business management, through a hands on approach

With her partner, she has supported the evolution of Blinds Man Bluff Ltd (www.blindsmanbluff.co.uk) into a successful Limited Company. Rachel retrained as an interior designer which enhances the business portfolio. Rachel is a company director.

Alongside of these responsibilities, Rachel has started a new career as a funeral celebrant holding the relevant certificates and has successfully trained with the International College of Celebrancy to obtain a advanced diploma and other qualifications Rachel has been operating as a Funeral Celebrant since 2013 and in 2020 was awarded by 2020 UK Enterprise Awards "Best Independent Bespoke Funeral Celebrant (England): "and as such is the proprietor of her own growing and successful business
