Tom and Laurel Luzzi

In 2008 Tom and Laurel had just sold the last of two successful restaurants they had owned and operated in downtown Calgary for 4 years. Thinking of retiring they decided to buy a vacation home in Arizona. Each time they returned to their vacation oasis they were faced with issues and problems that ate up half of the time allocated to relaxation. Recognizing the need to find someone to care for their vacation home while they were away they set out to find someone they could trust to fill the position. The main stubbling block was to ensure that the work was actually being done once they had left the home. Landscapers and pool care companies had let them down time and time again. These compaines had continued to send bills but it was painfully obvious that they work they had been paying for was not being done in their absence. Neigbors had volunteered to keep an eye on things but they too failed to follow through with promises. There didn't seem to be a solution to the problem.

This is how Snow Bird Arizona came to be. Tom was an American citizen who had been living in Calgary since he was a small child. He was able to sponsor Laurel, a Canadian, for a Green Card and the two set to work caring for homes in the valley.

Many clients began to ask for referrals for pool maintanance, landscaping among other trades. So many clients asked for real estate referrals Laurel decided to obtain her own real estate licence to fill that need.

Now tapping into their background in the hospitality industry Tom and Laurel work tirelessly to fill the needs of Snow Birds all over the valley.
