My Name is Samkelo Ntshingila, I am a third-year Bachelor of Education student at University of Johannesburg majoring in English and Physical Education, passionate about creating inclusive, learner-centred classrooms. Guided by constructivist learning theory, I believe learners build knowledge through collaboration, critical thinking, and meaningful experiences.

As a Faculty of Education Peer Mentor, I support first-year students in their transition to university, fostering confidence and academic success. I also serve as an SRC Transformation, Gender and Policy Officer, advocating for equity, inclusion, and student empowerment.

I believe education is a powerful tool for emancipation and social justice. With a strong interest in the politics of education, I aspire to empower learners to think critically, communicate effectively, and become active, responsible citizens.
