Stan Barber
I am currently chair of the Texas IPv6 Task Force, a regional chapter of the North American IPv6 Task Force and part of the IPv6 Forum. I have been promoting the use of IPv6 for most of this decade. I have worked for large companies (NTT) and small ones (The Planet, now known as Softlayer) and with non-profits (Baylor College of Medicine and Rice University).
Most recently, I have been doing IPv6 work with one of the largest cable operators in North America. This work involves working with different groups (voice, video, etc.) to get them all to add IPv6 to their existing IPv4-based capabilities. I also get to work with peers in other cable companies through Cablelabs.
Just in case it's not obious, I am the one in the glasses :-)
