My previous work experience was as a consultant in Nielsen, the leading marking research company in the world, specifically for the Wal-Mart Central America account, their biggest client in the region. I managed the relationship on site with the regional buyers and the market research direction, located in San José. The objective was to perceive opportunities within the market for different categories and recommend actions to capitalize them, for the 660 stores across 5 countries, under the 4 formats Wal-Mart operates.
I have a degree in Industrial Engineering of Universidad de Costa Rica. This coming May I will as an MBA from INCAE, a business school co-founded by Harvard University and ranked among the top schools in Latin America. I also participated in Global Network Week, a Seminar Organized by Yale School of Management, held in Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile on Retail Business in Latin America.
