Sofia Lych is a classically trained Ukrainian violinist and arranger. She comes from a family of musicians and began her training at the age of 5, guided by her father.
During her studies, Sofia has participated in various competitions, such as the Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, one of the best symphony orchestras in the country.
Sofia has worked with conductors such as Alexander Dmitriev (Russia), Paul Mann (England), Roman Kofman (Ukraine), Lev Markiz (Netherlands), Yuriy Nikolaevskiy (Israel), Krzysztof Penderecki (Poland), Sergei Stadler (Russia), M. Theodorakis (Greece), Ronald Zollman (Belgium), and Pascal Rophe (France).
With soloists such as Montserrat Caballé (Spain), Luciano Pavarotti (Italy), Salvatore Accardo (Italy), Vadim Brodsky (Italy), Liana Isakadze (Germany), Gidon Kremer (France), Raphael Oleg (France), Nemanja Radulovic (France), Sergej Stadler (Russia), Patrice Fontanarosa (France), Yury Bashment (Russia), Dmitri Bashkirov (Russia), Vladimir Viardo (EU), Eliso Virsaladze (Russia), Pascal Godar (France), Vladimir Krainev (Germany), Concha Buika (Spain), KYGO (Norway).

On tours to Germany, Spain, France, Switzerland, Austria, Ukraine, Turkey, Poland, and Mexico.Sofia has participated at the Violin Competition in Honour of Karol Lipinski and Henryk Wieniawski (Poland), among others, and has won first prizes at the International Music Competitions “Art of the 21st Century” (Ukraine) in 2001 and 2004.
In 2006, Sofia and her Classical Trio were chosen to inaugurate the newest cruise ship of the global leader Royal Caribbean International (RCI). Aboard this cruise ship, which at that time was officially the largest cruise ship in the world, she experienced Mexico for the first time.
Since 2009, Sofia has settled in Mexico and is seeking her own path as a violinist and Creative musician.
Currently, she participates in creative projects with maestros Ricardo Corona (Mexico), Juan d'Anyelica (Spain), Andre Krengel (Germany), and Claudio Tarris (Argentina).
In 2021, she earned her first Latin Grammy Award as a flamenco performer (Pepe de Lucia's album "Un Nuevo Universo").
Sofía Lych is proudly Mexican today and feels blessed to be able to share her love and passion for life through music.
Soy una violinista profesional, formada en la Escuela de Violín de alto nivel de la Unión Soviética desde los 5 años de edad. He conseguido tocar en las mejores salas de conciertos europeas acompañando a grandes maestros y directores de música clásica. Como músico tengo una excelente formación como violinista solista e artista de orquesta y ahora he llegado al extremo de interpretar, improvisar la música electrónica moderna y crear la fusión entre los distintos géneros musicales .
Soy una artista entusiasta que alcanza constantemente la perfección en todas sus actuaciones y siempre está dispuesta a desarrollar nuevas tendencias y estilos de música.
