Sofia Noiti is a Greek vocal coach, Jazz vocalist and Voice Teacher.

She teaches for over 30 years, and she is a very well known jazz vocalist in Greece.

She was born in Piraeus and her origin is from Salamis.

She started taking guitar lessons at the age of 12.

She is a Speech Level Singing Certified Teacher,and she has studied the SLS Voice Technique with Seth Riggs, Greg Enriquez, privately and summer workshops with Dave Stroud, Dean Kaelin, Wendy Parr, Jeffrey Skouson in Los Angeles, London, Gratz, Milano.

1982 - 1986 she started taking music theory and harmony lessons in National Conservatory of Greece. Also, she took her first voice lessons in Opera Singing.

1990-1996 She studied Classical Singing (bel canto technique) with Despina Katsari in National Conservatory of Greece and received a Diploma with Honors.

1996- 1997 She has taken Voice Therapy private lessons on Joe Estill Method "Voicecraft" from Voice pathologists Elda Koutsoumbaki and Alison Bagnall.

1999 She attended a vocal course series with Spyros Sakkas in the Center for Vocal Arts (C.V.A.), Athens

2004, attended Bobby McFerrin's Masterclass "Spontaneous Invntentions", on Vocal Jazz Improvisation and Circle Singing, in Omega Institute, New York.

2007 she went to Los Angeles to attend Speech Level Singing Summer Vocal Program where she studied with Seth Riggs.

2007 - 2009 She worked on Voice Teacher Training, on Speech Level Singing Teachers Program, for two years.

2008 She took private lessons from Greg Enriquez in London.

2008 She attended Arranging 1, on Berklee Online Music School.

2009 she took private lessons from Seth Riggs in Milan.

She has taken private jazz improvisation lessons with Michelle Weir (UCLA) and Rosana Eckert (UNT) in Los Angeles, Ed Byrne and George Kontrafouris.

She took jazz-piano lessons from Michelle Weir and Dimitris Kalantzis.

2018 she gave a Jazz and Voice technique workshop in Warsaw, Poland.

2025 She attended series of workshops on Byzantine Music with Professor Spyridon Yiatras.

At the moment, she studies Byzantine Music.

She teaches online or privately in Piraeus.

  • Her first personal record titled “Aghios Hronos” (Sacred Time), contains ten Greek folk and traditional songs, arranged in a jazz mood, by George Kontrafouris.
