Sola Olododo is a dynamic and pragmatic leader whose expertise lies at the intersection of international business, strategy, and innovation. With extensive experience driving growth and leading complex transformation programmes for SMEs, he brings strong business acumen and a proven ability to align innovation strategies with organisational objectives.
He excels at creating compelling business cases for sustainable impact, skillfully balancing the critical factors of viability, feasibility, and desirability. With a deep understanding of consumer and market dynamics, Sola translates insights into tangible innovation opportunities by uncovering trends and identifying untapped avenues for growth. His strategic foresight informs new propositions, product development, and marketing strategies. He also organises complex information into actionable plans by developing bespoke decision-making frameworks, scalable methodologies, and visionary roadmaps grounded in market realities.
As a co-founder of Natavi, an innovation consultancy and investment firm, Sola has led high-impact projects across public and private sectors in Nigeria, developing plans and strategies across growth, commercial, business, innovation, brand, marketing, category, customer, digital, product, and transformation. At Creativetribe Studios, he spearheaded a multidisciplinary team of strategists, creatives, and technologists, fostering a culture of visionary leadership and creative experimentation. He also co-founded the Huluku Initiative, an NGO dedicated to empowering Africa’s vibrant creative professionals.
Sola embraces new possibilities, leaving a profound influence across diverse sectors and establishing himself as a dynamic force in both business and academia. His academic journey reflects his commitment to continuous growth and specialisation. He holds an MBA in Marketing Management from Ahmadu Bello University and an MSc in Project Management and Innovation from the University of Strathclyde. Currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, his research focuses on “How African-Founded Digital Platform-Based Firms Successfully Internationalise: Challenges, Opportunities, and Pathways for Growth.” He is also a Stephen Young Global Leaders’ Scholar at the Stephen Young Institute in Glasgow and a recipient of the prestigious PDMA Doctoral Student Fellowship.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Sola enjoys board games, mobile games, poetry, reading, photography and cycling.
