Loop Solar

Loop Solar has been founded in 2014 and is based in the national capital region of Gurgaon, India. Hundreds of thousands of Indian villages are either not connected to the country's power grid, or lack uninterrupted power supply. It is estimated that more than half of the country's 1.2 billion people do not have access to electricity. We can unlock an immense opportunity for everyone by tapping into this market. Our aim is to keep our products extremely simple and reliable and maintenance free. We are in the process of building an extensive distribution and service network across India.

In our first leg of operations, we are focussing on rural markets in Jammu & Kashmir, Uttaranchal, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Within 2015, we plan to cover markets most parts of India including Odisha, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. We also plan to enter neighboring markets of Nepal and Bangladesh soon thereafter.
