Steven Lavendier

Music has always been a passion of mine, playing a huge role in life for me. I love all genres, especially Metal music, so naturally I decided to pick up the guitar and other instruments, learned to sing and write music, and got into my local music scene. I eventually found out that I had a knack for setting up events and promoting events, even for promoting, managing and booking local musicians, and myself, on festival events, shows and even booking tours everywhere. I enjoy finding and helping musicians with their careers, giving them guidance and advice and to help them with what they need to become professional musicians.

I want to work as an A&R scout/manager at a major record label like Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group or EMI to find and develop artists I enjoy listening to. Currently, I’m a student at Full Sail University working on my Bachelors of Science in Entertainment Business, which upon completion I plan on going for my Masters for Entertainment Business. I’m still making my own music, and also helping bands out whenever they need it in my spare time, whether it be management, putting together EPK’s, recording, merchandise or booking. I want to start my own music management company/record label so I can be my own boss and help all the bands I feel deserve a shot at a great career.
