Solomon Asamoah is a seasoned development finance professional known for his leadership in infrastructure investment and private sector mobilisation across Africa. With more than three decades of experience, he has worked at the highest levels of institutions such as the African Development Bank, Africa Finance Corporation and the International Finance Corporation. From 2017 to 2024, he served as the CEO of the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund, expanding the fund to US $500 million and catalysing major investments across multiple sectors. His earlier roles include serving as Deputy CEO and CIO of the Africa Finance Corporation and holding senior positions at the Development Bank of Southern Africa, where he led operations across 10 countries. Solomon holds a Master’s in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London and executive qualifications from Harvard, London Business School and INSEAD. He is widely regarded for his commercial acumen, cross-continental experience and ability to deliver complex development projects.
