The opening of Solstice Arts Centre in 2006 was a clear expression of the local authorities belief in the importance of living, expressive and diverse culture that enriches the lives of the people of Co. Meath.

Solstice is committed to engaging with our community and enhancing audiences' cultural and artistic experiences in different spaces and through a variety of mediums.

Theatre

The 320 seat theatre space is the core of the performing arts in Meath. With 20 flying lines and the latest lighting and audio technology, the theatre can support the professional development of regional groups whilst producing a vibrant national and international performance programme.

Gallery Spaces

The three gallery spaces at Solstice are finished to the highest professional standard. The natural light that floods throughout can be controlled when required by a bespoke blind system. Integrated track lighting offers dynamic lighting options for visiting artists. Studio Space

Located on the ground floor, the studio is a space of making and engagement between visiting artists and the people of Meath.
