Ganga Rasayanie started in 1971 with a small manufacturing unit at Liluah (Kolkata) with one tone per day batch process distillation for refining Coal Tar and it's by - products. In1974 our second unit was set up at Durgapur mainly concentrating on Coal Tar products. Refining of petroleum products were added latter. In 1978, the third unit at Ankleshwar was established with a capacity of 20 tones per day. In 1990 the Panamgadu unit at Village Ramapuram (Andhra Pradesh) about 55 Km from Chennai was starts with a capacity of 25 tone per day

GRPL is engaged in downstream refining of various petroleum & hydrocarbon resin, coal tar based feedstocks manufacturing various solvent naptha like aromatic hydrocarbons, industrial solvent, aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent, hydrocarbon solvent, aromatic solvent naptha, aliphatic hydrocarbons, aliphatic solvent naptha, coal tar and tar oils.
