Nana Ahmed, is a women right activist, an advocate, an integral cultural broker and a community activist who works to cultivate strong, vibrant community and inspire a higher quality of life in the greater Chicago metropolitan area .Ms. .Ahmed is a natural leader, a supporter and actively involved in fostering cultural diversity, economic, self-reliance and responsible growth for the Somali community and other communities inthe greater Chicago metropolitan.Mis Ahmed is the founder and the Executive Director of the Somali women Association of Illinois, a non profit organizaion that serves,inspire,educate and empower the Somali women living in the state of Illinois and help them become an integral part of the American society.
