Manuela Martinez

Hi my name is Manuela Martinez and I am a graduate of CSUN’s Theatre program.

My first involvement with acting came at the young age of seven when I was cast as the villain in The Three Little Pigs. Playing the big bad wolf opened my eyes to a world I would love for the rest of my life.

Due to personal tragedies, my family and I moved around a lot, leaving me little opportunity to pursue my dreams of ever being on stage again. However, when the time came to continue my education after high school, I knew exactly where I needed to be. With the help of family and friends, I packed up and moved to Los Angeles.

One of my most memorable roles has been in Electricidad, written by Luis Alfaro and directed by Laurie Woolery. Where I played the murderous Clemencia. When you're as nice as I am, it is nice to play a villain on stage.

I have a very supporting and loving family and would not be where I am without them or God. I am truly grateful for always having people stand with and for me.

I am continuing to pursue my dream and show the acting world what I am truly capable of. I am currently seeking representation and look forward to working in television, stage and film.
