When i was young, I dreamt of being an astro-physicist. But unfortunately, paths changed and I ended up in Computer Science, rather than Physics and Astronomy! Although not my favorite subject when I took it as my major. But still, always have the 'nerd' in me to tinker with computers most of the time.

Did my B.Sc on Computer Science (Honors) with Mathematics and Physics as minor subjects, from St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata, India, and started doing independent research on various topics realted to Computer Science (fortunately :P )! I was even fortunate enoguh to start research work on different topics from my 2nd year of undergraduate study, and was blessed to be exposed to many vibrant research comminuties! I guess, that's how I ended up in Research at last......... Or should I believe that I always was destined to be in this!

Nah.....that's way too much too think of, and recently I am more focused to put my 'grey matter' in work on the follwong topics:

* Cryptlogy and Information Security

* Computer Architecture

* HPC / Multicore Computing

* Artificail Intelligence

* Mobile Computing
